Welcome!

Glad to see you care about me and not just what I've done. This will be a much more ever changing and never quite finished page in comparison to the rest. I also really hope you love pictures and —most importantly— pictures of animals and my various trips, friends, and family. As you can imagine from that I am a big family man. I firmly believe in setting them first above all and don't deviate from that much. Whilst I adore and love my work I know that at the end of the day I need to experience life to its fullest with the ones I love the most.

Surprise! I have a lot of animals whom I love very much.

We have three cats. Gizmo and Indiana who are litter-mates! They're quite lost if the other is gone for anything like vet appointments or what-not. The other cat is our little evil tortie called Juniper (or just Juni). She's fiesty, but also super snuggly once she likes you. Just takes a long time to do so.

We also have a wonderful dog by the name of Talkeetna (Tali) and she's amazing! She's a border collie with the most beautiful brown coat and pretty eyes. It helps that she's also incredibly smart. Perhaps more than is good for her!

Who would I be without my Emily? Honestly probably much worse off. She has been my rock for over 9 years now and I wouldn't trade that for the world itself. She's extremely smart and successful in her own right as well. A Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine Student at Colorado State University, she has always been driven and has always impressed. She drives me in much similar ways and always encourages me to see the good that I can —and have— done.

We're big fans of zoos and especially the Denver Zoo!

While technically not her favorite animal its close! Her actual favorite is the Goodfellows Tree Kangaroo.

My favorite! Though never seen in person, sadly, I deeply love Servals.

Now for some of my trips!

I love traveling and have been very lucky to travel all over the world. Wether that be with the army or with friends, its been an incredible experience and one I always recommend to others. Of course it's not always feasible, but that is why I feel so lucky to have had the chances to do so.

Norway

This was Norway. My gradmother emmigrated to the United States following the Second World War so there's still much here —and many people just the same— that I am deeply connected to. Having been unable to travel here in the past I took the chance as soon as it was there.

Being able to finally witness the sights and connect with the stories she told was a wonderfully enriching experience. Perhaps most touching, and heart wrenching was the various monuments around Oslo and Norway to the Norwegian Resistance. Of which my family were active members in and many suffered for. However their greatest achievement was an incident known as the sinking of the SF Hydro. A small ship carrying documents relating to the Nazi efforts to create a nuclear bomb. The sinking was what ultimately led the Nazi's down the wrong path in their research and may have prevented it entirely. A history I couldn't be more proud of.

Copenhagen to Utrecht

A misadventure for the ages.

Leaving Oslo we decided ot take some trains from Copenhagen to Utrecht. Jacob Wozney, my best friend and the blonde guy in the pictures, has a sister who was living there at the time. Figuring it an easy trip we visited around Copenhagen a bit and saw the sights before leaving, but ended up in Koln instead. It wasn't all bad though! We got some awesome Shwarma.

The Netherlands

Our stop after Koln got us to Utrecht where we spent time with Tess, Jacob's sister, and enjoyed the life there. The bikes, the people, the food, it was all a wonderful time. Beyond the bustle of some of the major cities, Utrecht gave us an insight into the daily lives of those in the Netherlands. Much like visiting small areas in Norway and Germany it was an experience I cannot recommend enough.

Switzerland

The last part of our trip was to end in Geneva. After a very, very long trip around Europe and a very long train ride from Amsterdam we eventually got to Geneva and spent the last few days there. Seeing the sights and sounds of some of the most beautiful environments in Europe. Not to mention the utterly inpsiring experience of visitng CERN. That alone was worth every ounce of effort and planning for the trip.
